We offer storytime every day! Join us from 10:30 – 11:30 am.
Themes and books vary, so check our event calendar for detailed date information.
Baby storytime is unique because it will focus on ways that parents and caregivers can interact with their children during storytime. We will give you fun ideas of things to do with your babies that encourage interaction and early literacy and then show you how to model those interactions for them. We will read two or three short books and also have opportunities for you to read a book or two to your child. This event will feature songs, rhymes, lap bounces, and playtime at the end. Your babies can play and parents and caregivers can chat! We look forward to seeing you!
Local Doula Sarah Bruss reads!
Lil’ Kickers Storytime
Join us for a visit from Lil Kickers and their mascot, Kick., from Bladium Sports and
Fitness Club in Denver. We will welcome two coaches and Kicker as they enthusiastically read sports and action themed books for Storytime! They are always sure to bring treats for the kids, too.
Officer Robbie Storytime
We will have a visit from local police officer Robbie. He reads to us in his uniform each month!
Message from Robbie: I enjoy story time because I am a father of three children. I was able to pass along the importance of reading to my children and how it helps to expand your imagination. Reading to my children has always been very important to me. Reading with the children allows the kids to see a police officer as someone who is a member of their community and not someone to be fearful of. It also allows us, as police officers, to get to know the families that we serve and to give something back.
This special storytime will include interactive picture book readings, simple games, songs and time for coloring at the end. We know our toddlers love to move around, and we hope to embrace their energy at this storytime.
